I decided to keep the tool completely free, with no sign ups, no email forms, and no paywalls, because I believe basic financial awareness around car ownership should be accessible to everyone. Even though I built this as a student project, I take the accuracy seriously, and I aim to keep the calculator aligned with JPJ structures and the newer EV road tax rules as they evolve. At the same time, I see this site as something a bit more human than a typical "calculator" page: it reflects my own learning journey as a young Malaysian trying to understand money, mobility, and long term costs a little better.
